Halal Hokkaido

Privacy Policy

The plain English version.

This is the privacy policy for halalhokkaido.com, run by Zach in Hokkaido, Japan. Plain English version: I collect as little as possible, I never sell anything about you, and you can ask me to delete what little there is.

What gets collected

If you sign up for one of the free downloads, your email address goes to Kit, the service that sends my emails. It is used to send you the thing you asked for and the occasional letter after that. Nothing else.

You can unsubscribe with one click in any email, and your address is removed.

Cookies and analytics

This site runs on WordPress, which may set basic cookies needed for the site to work. Any analytics are for understanding which pages are useful, not for following you around the internet.

Embedded content

The signup forms on this site are embedded from Kit. Kit may collect data as if you had visited them directly, and their own privacy policy covers that as well as this one.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Reply to any email you get from me and it lands straight with me, and I will sort it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date. Last updated: July 2026.
